  I first attended New Hope Bible Church almost 2 years ago when I was working at a temporary job position in Bakersfield. I was unfamiliar with the local churches and most of the people I worked with weren't "into" chruch attendance so a "referral" wasn't to be had. After much prayer, internet searching and trial and error, I was led to New Hope. All those in attendance welcomed me from the moment I walked in and always offered prayers and a listening ear when needed. I have been unable to attend here during the past 2 years since my job has taken me to various locations throughout the USA. I look forward to once again attending this wonderful, God-filled place of worship as God has blessed me with the opportunity to work in Bakersfield yet again.
