  I attended a service recently that was put together by Bakersfield Funeral Home. The family was in a lot of heart ache because of lack of funds, however with the help of the funeral home and several other sources they were able to have an absolutely beautiful service.

  Took over a week for cremation and added extra fees not disgusted in contract.

  Absolutely terrible service. I had to help the woman fill out the form correctly as she kept putting information in the completely wrong place. As a 19 year old who is handling a death completely alone, this was already ridiculous. Three months later when I ask for help with the death certificate the lady flat out told me "no", and a manager told me that when they had the information I would have to call myself, they would not inform me. It is saddening to see such an unprofessional establishment, especially when it deals wit family death. I would recommend a crypt keeper before considering them.
